I’ve tried translating “Haole” using the IM translator, but it translates nothing!

Haole (pron.: /ˈhaʊliː/; Hawaiian [ˈhɔule]), in the Hawaiian language, is generally used to refer to an individual that fits one (or more) of the following: “White person, American, Englishman, Caucasian; American, English; formerly, any foreigner; foreign, introduced, of foreign origin, as plants, pigs, chickens”.1 The origins of the word predate the 1778 arrival of Captain James Cook (which is the generally accepted date of first contact with westerners), as recorded in several chants stemming from antiquity.

Would the pain of Rip’s life experiences equal the pain of having twelve kids? Good question.

I could give her that the pain of the 1st kid would be an unknown beforehand. And my wife certainly felt some pain.

The 2nd kid, well sometimes you just can’t help those ;-) But things were easier!

The 3rd kid, well she should start taking some responsibility for her choice to continue bringing on the pain, and the baby path has been cleared so the pain should be much less.

By the 12th kid she could have stopped having kids a long time ago, and the path is now officially a freeway so there should be no pain or trouble anymore.

My wife used to say that men would only know true pain once we had squirted a 10 pound ham out our butts…

The pain of childbirth does not end with childbirth. It lasts until you finish paying for college.

A friend from Iowa married a Filipino. The host of a show they went to in Hawaii said their children would be Haolepinos.

I had two kids – didn’t hurt a bit. Can’t speak for my ex, of course.
