TNT: Rip, you knocked out the sheriff and stuck him in the trunk? What if he's just a jerk and not up to anything evil? Rip Haywire: I can smell a corrupt lawman from three countries over. He's rotten, all right! TNT: Rip, I hope you're right. Being a fugitive is murder on my silky coat! Rip Haywire: Look, down in the valley... a chopper with bullet holes! TNT: Do you think that's Breezy's? Rip Haywire: Only Breezy could crash-land a chopper with such precision! It's one of the things I love about her!
I work with a colorist who tries really hard to make the colors look like I’d like them. This isn’t an easy strip to color as it has more art than most..so we use lots of “action colors” colors that direct the eye to important stuff, and colors that show the impact of actions. Last Sunday’s Peanuts with Snoopy and the red Baron is a good example of what I like in coloring.
