The Ka-Wink is for the Sunday inside joke…Rip Haywire doesn’t run on Sunday so he’s telling the reader he’s wise to this … Like those old Superman cartoons where Lois would ask Clark how he missed all the excitement of Superman saving the planet and Clark would say something witty in response and wink at the audience…because we knew what was up…we knew he was Superman. Ok, back to work.
