Anyone else notice Uncle Max’s perspective points out R.J. LEFT him buried under an avalanche because he would rather chase after Skinner, and get the collar, than rescue the person who commissioned him.

Now that we’ve had our teachable after-school-special moment, can we get back to Rip?

While Max is right about RJ leaving him in the avalanche, let’s not forget that Max (and Lily) planned to leave RJ on the mountain when they found the money.

No characters were seriously harmed in the making of this arc…except for those poachers. Bears are notoriously unforgiving.

And all is well. (With the possible exception of Uncle Max being bitter over left behind in the avalanche.)
