In Port Rowan, Ont., Canada, there is an annual tomato festival featuring a posting of the mayor tomatoes! 10,000 chickens, specially trained to attack and eat locusts, were released in Xinjiiang, China, to combat a locust plague! Tom and Darla Kruger of North Dakota must cross a river in a cable car, drive 18 miles by car, then another 8 miles by school bus in order to get to school!
