Believe It or Not! In 1840, William C. Talcott of Valparaiso, Imd., Devised a phonetic spelling called the initial teaching alphabet in which the eliminated the letters K, Q and X and added others to make a 39 letter alphabet! Believe It or Not! Cricket players in Sri Lanka were ordered to stop playing during a game when a 2 foot long fish landed in the middle of a pitch after it was dropped there by an eagle!
