Two days later, as Booth's casket was being carried from the church, all three floors of Ford's Theater collapsed! Rich Tiberi of Kentucky purchased a box of identified baseballs for $250 from a collectibles store. The box contained balls autographed by Babe Ruth, Tony Lazzeri and Lou Gehrig, valued at about $20,000!
