Q: 8 people entered a building during a rainstorm and deposited their umbrellas at the entrance. As they were preparing to leave later in the day, a cause here hands out umbrellas without knowing who they belong to. What is the probability that exactly 7 people were given their own umbrellas? Answer- If a concierge hands out umbrellas to 8 people at random, the probability that exactly 7 people will have their own umbrellas, then the 8th person would as well.
