The poisonous skin of the Australian cane toad can kill snakes, dogs and crocodiles! 14-year-old D'Zhana Simmons of Clinton, SC, USA, was kept alive by machines, and spent 118 days without a heart!

The cane (or marine) toad isn’t native to Australia. It was introduced in the 1930s, in the hope of controlling insects ruining crops. Unfortunately, now the toad is thriving in Australia, because, as the panel says, any creature attempting to eat it can die from the toad’s venomous secretions.
