American sports legend Jim Thorpe (1888-1953) was buried in the Pennsylvania town of Mauch Chunk, which renamed itself Jim Thorpe, Pa.- despite the fact that Jim Thorpe had never even visited it! The capital gate building in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E., was built to lean further to the side, 18, than the leaning tower of Pisa currently does! One of the first U.S. coins ever minted, a silver dollar from 1794, sold for $7.85 million on May 20, 2010!
