The combined Democratic and Republican campaigns spent about $50 per voter in the 2012 US elections.

Oh, in case you’re wondering. It doesn’t matter which party you vote for. The Republicans and Democrats are two sides of the same coin. They’re both the problem, neither are the solution. So it doesn’t matter who’s elected. The country’s still screwed.
