I don’t believe the dog-donating-blood-to-a-cat story at all.

So the watch survives the plastic explosive blast. How would this be useful to the wearer and why would you incorporate this feature into the watch design?

We have good news and bad news. The good news is that the watch survived the explosion. The bad news is that, other than the wrist attached to the watch, the owner did not fair as well.

“Please REMOVE all staples before inserting office paper.”Just one of MANY admonitions listed on Anerican versions of the machine. The Japanese are too courtious and thoughtful to need such reminders.
