Ripley's Believe It or Not by Ripley’s Believe It or Not! for January 11, 2014
Transcript:
In 1986, Frank Samuelsen and George Harbo rowed across the Atlantic Ocean and 55 days- their time wasn't beaten for 114 years! Swanson's thrushes, found in the Americas, sleep for just 10 seconds at a time! The Angu people of Papua New Guinea where the smoked fingers and hands of dead relatives is jewelry.

What do those birds do during the other 50 seconds to 59 minutes of a 24-hour day (something like that in that wording)? Frank & George must’ve really built some muscle as cramps. Kind of creepy with the Angu people.

If my bladder doesn’t improve, I’ll be right up there with that bird.

well, the Swainson’s Thrushes DO have quintets this year, so, I suppose lack of sleep is pretty much to be expected
