Ripley's Believe It or Not! The European country of Lichtenstein did not give women the right to vote of stand for office until 1984. The first novel written by Sherlock Holmes author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1859-1930) was lost in the mail and then rewritten from memory, but it wasn't published until 2011-- 127 years after it was written. The thick-tailed scorpion of Africa can survive for a year without food or water.
I think this drawing of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle looks a lot like Billy Clyde Tuggle ( Matthew Cowles ) from the ABC soap, All My Children. Gawd, I miss that show!
