Okay. I’m 30 years old (almost 31). How many pounds of skin have I lost thus far out of that approximate 40?

High heeled shoes originate from Persia where they were worn by warriors who were skilled in firing their bows whilst they were riding a horse. The heels were necessary in order to keep from slipping from the stirrups. So these shoes were originally associated with being a skilled bowman. Which explains why rich and powerful Western royalty wore similar high heeled shoes.

The fashion is also the source of the idiom: well-heeled, meaning wealthy.

I took a quick peek in the mirror. I have a feeling that restaurant in China would charge me double!

I took a quick peek in the mirror and got the feeling that the restaurant would probably not charge me, but actually SERVE me.

“Skin is more supple and not as dry when you are under 30”
The suppleness of youth is the result of collagen, not moisture.
Dust is dust. It is completely void of moisture. A pound of skin dust from a 25 year old will be the same as a pound of dust from a 75 year old.

Ah, back when men wore heels, had hair long enough to braid, wore stockings…and were somehow manlier on average than today.

I’d rather lose 40 pounds of fat in a month-time.
