Dry valleys are barren areas of Antarctica, so dry, no rain or snow has fallen in over 2 million years! Leo and Ruth Zanger of Quincy, Illinois, welcomed their 100th grandchild on April 8, 2015. They now have 54 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild. There are more than 40,000 different types of rice in the world!
