Secretariat Usually only the head, heart and hooves of dead racehorses are buried, but in 1989, Secretariat- the 1973 Triple Crown champion- was completely laid to rest in a 6 X 6 ft oak casket. Carlos May is the only Major League baseball player to ever wear his birth date on the back of his uniform- May 17! After being struck by lightning, patterned scars known as Lichenberg figures are sometimes left on a person's skin.

Googled lichtenberg figures on skin. Some are quite beautiful but I’m sure that, if asked, no one would actually choose to get one.

So Carlos May was born in May? Was that a coincidence or did he change his last name to May?

I knew a guy who accidentally parachuted into a high voltage line. He had similar scars.

And what do they do with the rest of the horse?

It was a coincidence that 67-year-old Carlos May was born in May; his older brother, 72-year-old Lee May, was born in March. Both brothers played baseball for the American League. Lee May also played for some National League teams.
