Long before Jenny, there was Joni — Joni Eareckson Tada, who became a quadraplegic in a diving accident at the age of 17, I think in the late 60s or early 70s. She was painting with a paintbrush in her mouth 40 years ago. She is still active in worldwide ministry to the handicapped, heads a highly successful organization, and still looks like she is in her 20s — well, maybe 30s.
