Don’t leave your candles where the dog can knock them over. Isaac should have learned that by the number of times he had to clean up spilled coffee.

Newton discovered laws of motion and gravity. However, backup files would come much later…

Most Philadelphia streets are still quite wide, yet there are narrow streets in Center City (what natives call “downtown”). Broad Street is the equivalent of 14th Street. Market St. (originally named High St.) is the division between north and south addresses. North/south streets are numbered. East/west streets are named. Many streets in south Philly are named for Pennsylvania governors.

Penn was also part of the group that commissioned Jeremiah Dixon and Charles Mason to survey the New World to determine the precise, exact, location of the border between Pennsylvania and Maryland by drawing what has become known to history as the Mason-Dixon Line. This was in part due to Maryland being a Catholic colony, and Pennsylvania being very VERY Protestant.

Wasn’t William also a resident of Pen Island?

May Lord Rupert Ernest William Gascoyne-Cecil be with you as he is with me. Lord Rupert Ernest William Gascoyne-Cecil was Bishop of Exeter from 1916 to 1936.

I recall hearing a story (I don’t know if it’s true) that Newton was so fond of the dog, that when the accident happened that dstroyed Newton’s work, his only comment was; “Ah Diamond, you know not what you have done.”
