The 2 million 2023-P dimes, fresh from the mint just 15 miles away, was a real thing. It happened very close to the city limits and I-95.

$200,000 in dimes is two million dimes. Each weighs 2.27 grams, so the haul was just over five tons.

The way they’re getting their brand involved in politics, I don’t think they’re very fast nowadays, either.

And Ben and Jerry make very good ice cream.

Although not infallible (true of all human endeavors), I am quite amazed and admirable of what surgeons have been able to accomplish in recent history!

A while back I discovered Ben and Jerry’s Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream. Thank goodness it doesn’t come in 1.5 quart containers – just pints.

But Ben & Jerry sold their business to a large corporation that I cannot remember the name of. I guess they sold the recipes as part of the deal. Don’t know any details about that.

The company that is the owner of Ben and Jerry’ is Unilever, a large corporation.

Ironically Ben & Jerry’s started in an old, converted gas station, a bowling ball’s throw from where I lived. I’ve never bought it at the store, because it was too rich for me, and way over-priced.But, once, in a while, they would have truckload sales of “factory rejects,” like the Heathbar crunch, which had pieces at least twice the size of the recommended Heath Piece size! There were pieces the size of a thumb nail in it! THAT was worth it!
