Flour mill explosions are absolutely a thing, no ‘could’ about it. Flour is highly flammable, but usually has too little oxygen to ignite. Suspend huge amounts in the air, however, and one spark is all it takes.

Keep dreaming on that mine, someday? Why would anybody invest in it?

I remember two corn elevators blowing up in my area, when the dust from the corn, suspended in the air, ignites, even from just a static electricity spark. One happened at the Farm Bureau Co-op in Lacrosse, Indiana, and the other at the Farm Bureau Co-op in Union Mills, Indiana. In both cases, a worker was standing near the top of the elevator, and the explosion blew them outwards, and gravity pulled them downwards. Neither survived.

What’s with the Oppenheimer thing?

Saw a video of one corn silo that collapsed and the dust hit some electrical boxes. Big fireball.

Maybe someone should find out what the four’s demands are so it won’t blow up the factory.
