Rose is Rose by Don Wimmer and Pat Brady for November 13, 1998
Transcript:
Rose leans against a tree as leaves fall. Rose wears a coat and hat. Rose thinks, "When i lean against my "Let things be" tree, I'm able to just let things be!" Rose thinks, "At first I can let only the little things be!" Rose thinks, "And gradually I'm able to let bigger things be!" Rose thinks, "It's my progressive resistance "let things be" training program!"
When I Was Young And My Heart Was An Open Book, I too had a “‘Let Things Be’ tree.” It was a very large and old Oak tree that stood by itself at the back of my elementary school’s property. It was such a peaceful place. I would often sit under it during summer vacation. As I said, it was an OLD tree; and before I entered High School it died and had to be felled.
