Actually, Jimbo’s not doing it right. One thing you do not do is announce that you’re booping someone’s nose in order to snap her out of a foul mood. And you especially do not explicitly call it a “foul mood”..Don’t talk. Just boop.

In out Family it’s a Nose “Beep,” maybe THAT’s the problem.

In our family you might lose a finger.

No, not really, but I don’t think it’d help.

Tried it this morning. Actually it did help. Of course, the fact that she had already read it probably helped.

When I was a little girl, my brother could always break me out of a “foul mood” by saying, “Don’t smile. Don’t you DARE smile. Stay in your bad mood.” etc. Never failed. Funny thing is, it worked for his daughter, too!

Life’s little pleasures are the best!

I’m thinking that a ‘boop’ on the nose is more something that would work with a baby. It’s just silly enough to get them laughing. With a grown woman, maybe handing them a favorite flower or a glass of wine might be better….

Depends on the woman’s sense of humor…and in my case, what I am angry about.

Just like god did to the last Scion in “Dogma” when she asked why we are here!
