Pharmakeus Ubik: When I was a kid, a neighbor frequently played Katachurian’s Sabre Dance. The neighborhood mockingbird could sing it all the way to the trombone glissando, which it never added. I once heard a cardinal’s territorial call and replied. After three exchanges, the “cardinal” suddenly changed into something resembling a Woody Woodpecker laugh. The mocker was playing the same game.
