We always had a towel by the door during rainy season or if it was raining so could dry them off before they got inside. Plus what helped all of ours would shake after being wiped down with the towel. I know we had angels but the Labs only in that department…..not anything else LOL
Even when you have the dog on leash,sometimes the only way to keep them from the puddle (or something worse) is to pick up the dog and walk away. And if you don’t walk far away that 2 pound or 200 pound furball will pull you back to what ever it was that so entranced it!
