Considering how well she can talk and move, shouldn’t she have a lot more hair by now? With all her words, she is at least 2, if not almost 3. That’s definitely old enough to have a few inches of hair.
First, let me say, I hope your screen name was an ironic choice and not your personal self-assessment. In my view everyone is important. And one who recognizes the joy that child is expressing definitely is not nobody important
Second, that world is still within you. You have to find a way to let it out for a few minutes: daydream and let your mind provide the images; write about your earliest memories (hopefully, they are happy thoughts); find a way to read in character to a tiny person or two; go into the children’s section of the library and get a book, but take time so you can absorb what’s happening.
In short, open yourself to the possibilities. Life is a work-around of the shadow areas. The sunlight is still there.
@mcprof. . . so long as there are those who matter, you are important. And, you might be surprised to learn someday that you were important of one or more of the could care less population. One never can be sure that one’s actions or words have been significant to another.
