I have 3 cats; a 5 yr. old tortie, Calli, and 2 males, Bailey, a ginger tabby, and Bing, a siamese mix, who are 3 yrs old. Bailey has more than once opened treat bags to get into them, and recently clawed into a 3.5lb. bag of food to get into it. Last Christmas Eve I was cooking and heard him into something and saw that he had ripped into a bag of treats. Took them away and resumed my cooking. Few minutes later, he had gotten another bag and was at it again! So I scolded him and took those away! (I can’t recall right now how he kept getting them). Few minutes later he got something else, maybe some dog treats that I keep for neighbor’s dogs, but that was IT! They are not really finicky and I usually free-feed them (dry food is left out for them all the time). He did not like the brand that was out and he was letting me know it! It was a pretty good brand, too. But he was having no more of it, LOL. But even a few days ago, when I let the food bowl get low, he tore into a bag that was close to get into it.
