When I House Break dogs I train them to a convenient schedule, rather than train them to ask to go out. My shepherd is trained that he gets to go out at 7:30 AM. So, when I want to sleep late, I get reminded by a cold, wet nose in my ear at 7:30:15
I was so comfortable with the cat tucked lovingly behind my knee instead of jabbing an elbow into me but I was HOT with that bedwarmer and had to throw off some covers. Someone was offended and jumped down.
When I’m sleeping in my recliner, my two Alpha-girls get on either arm and start low-growling at each other. I feel like they are Russia and Germany, and I’m Poland!
As I sit here reading this, my Freyja is on my shoulders. Nothing like a 12.6 pound cat sitting on your shoulders. She will only go on the shoulders of people she trusts (she is a rescued feral) so I let her. My husband will make her get off of his though.

Jimbo, you are the Alpha male in the house. Prove it. Just get up, and the fur-ball will move.

And cats also know when you’re about to get up, then they climb on your lap and start purring. Dang furry beasts….but I love ’em SOOOOOOO much!

Ya know how to be very, very attractive to a cat? Be allergic to it.

That feline is just asking for some tea time love. Gumbos do not mind, I am sure.
