Yah, those Thomson’s gazelles are pretty fast (they even have racing stripes on their sides!). A cheetah might have taken it down, but a lioness, no way. I’m surprised she even tried, the lions usually go after zebra and wildebeest – after all, they have a whole pride to feed!
