    This is essentially why there is (and our family uses) https://www.charitynavigator.org/ , http://www.charitywatch.org/ or http://www.guidestar.org/. You would probably be amazed how much some charities, even pretty well respected ones are siphoning much of their proceeds to “overhead”.

    That is most charities, churches, foundations and governments. Seattle spends $120,000 for each homeless person in the city. That money feeds the bureaucrats mostly. Not sure how much help comes by way of the Bill and Malinda Gates Foundation…….

    If I remember the story correctly, Robin Hood stole from the government and gave it back to the taxpayers.
