Go ahead and take it there yourself, if you don’t like how they do business.
Me, I will continue to buy and use stamps.
I am eternally grateful for the “Forever” stamp, though – it was a pain keeping up with the cost increases, and figuring out how many 1penny 2penny, or 3penny stamps to put on with the main stamp.
I recall that the poster at the post office that explained that the post office was no longer a part of the government was printed at the Government Printing Office.

It hasn’t taken a dime of tax money since around 1972.
The Post Office is mandated in the Constitution, yet the “right” whinge wants to do away with it. Why do they hate the Constitution?
