Ghosts are added value. The owners can make a large part of their investment back by charging those “Ghost Hunter” shows to come in and overreact to the house creaking.

A few days ago I looked up the home I grew up in. My parents bought it in 1978 for $79,000. Zillow now lists it at $785,000.
