An omniscient God can not, by definition, have free will. That’s why God gives us free will. God creates us from Himself as an extension of Himself, that He may encompass both the divine and the mundane, thus completing His own perfection.
Free will is born of making choices based on a limited scope and perspective. God, who has unlimited scope and perspective will always know the best choice in any situation. Therefore, God will only ever have one choice to make; the best one. Only ever having one choice is the same as having no choice, hence God has no free will.
Feel free to argue with me that God does have free will, just be forewarned: If you succeed in convincing me that God does have free will, I will start worshiping Satan at that exact instant.
