So now we know what supports the household! (I always wondered who paid for food, cable, and chemicals for the lab.) Leopold does home security! This is probably a flashback to the beginning of his career and the head on the wall is the monster equivalent of the first dollar he ever made.

I’ve always figured anything you do to somebody who breaks in is justifiable.
