Reminds me of an old joke – a priest and an atheist were walking along a river. The atheist asks, “So you are saying there is no limit to the power of prayer?” The priest replies calmly, “Well, the power of God is without limit and God responds to the prayers of man, so yes.” Still skeptical, the atheist continues, “So, if you were to pray hard enough, you could get this river to run uphill?” The priest now replies, “God could make the river run uphill, and with enough prayer He would answer.” The atheist then pounces, “Ok, then how hard do you have to pray to get God to make the river run uphill?” Smiling the priest replied, “Hard enough to make the river run uphill.”
