Her client will use the N-trance and now I’ll use the exit.

Would that client happen to be from Trance-sylvania?

The client became in-trance-igent and refused to pay, at which point the account was trance-fered to a collection agency.

Efcole 1961 had it right - a Drifter, a King, to be exact.

Edcole is correct, however some of the audience may be too young to understand the connection to the Drifters and the song “Save the Last Dance For Me”, which was released in the early ‘60’s

He’ll have to trans-fer between buses, which could cause him to trace-end the stairs a little later to get into the en-trance …

Oh, King from the Drifters. I was thinking of another king: Elvis. He may be making an en-trance too.

Thanks, BC13 - but young people like me know a few things. Clyde McPhatter’s Drifters came first, then Ben E. King’s Drifters, along with a real hodgepodge of musicians and singers. Both groups are in the R&R Hall of Fame (King’s group did the “Dance” mentioned here, along with “There Goes My Baby” and others). OK - done.

I’m hardly young (50), and although the song was familiar, I had no idea who made it popular. Thanks for the explanation, BC!

RRAmom I’m 49 now and I was probably only a year old when it came out. Growing up, I bacame as interested in music’s past as the then present.

There probably aren’t that many kids like that now. Heck, they won’t watch a classic movie just because it’s B&W.

DrFro: I was joking just a teensy bit - I am OLDER than BC13, and danced to that stuff years ago. Believe me, BC13 needs no help.
