    A mulligan is a do-over (especially in golf), ladyfingers86.

How about syndication? Not only do you stay around forever, you make more money than you did the first time around.

That’s what my daughter keeps saying, I wish life had a UNDO button. Sounds like a good idea to me, Kea.

Woody Allen is quoted as saying “Some people want to achieve immortality through their work. I want to achieve immortality through not dying.”

Personally, I’m with Nabuquduriuzhur and Yukoner on this one.

Syndicated reruns may be profitable, but it must be a little hellish when you can’t get another show because everyone still sees you in the same role. Especially if you were salaried with no royalties & only took the lousy gig because you were between dishwashing jobs. With “cast of billions” on our resumés, we’ll be lucky to play cockroaches next time.

    Chuk–

Or only had talent when part of a group, a la Kramer and George on “Seinfeld” and EVERYBODY on “Friends”.

A sequel would just be more SOS– if your karma is good, because you earn it, at least there’s a chance you’ve learned something going into the next “event”-

I’m glad that “aircraft-engineer” doesn’t really believe that we religious folk aren’t actually weak minded. That’s what one usually means when you put quotes around words.

I.e. Roz serves “food” at her diner.

And for good measure, Benjamin Franklin’s epitaph:

The body of B. Franklin, Printer (Like the Cover of an Old Book Its Contents torn Out And Stript of its Lettering and Gilding) Lies Here, Food for Worms. But the Work shall not be Lost; For it will (as he Believ’d) Appear once More In a New and More Elegant Edition Revised and Corrected By the Author.
