Agreed. Snow pack is about 15% of normal here in Oregon. Yeah it’s gonna be a very bad year for drought. I live west of Portland in a heavily wooded area and the the local fire department is very worried.The only people not worried are the real “flakes” while the rest of us, especially those like me who’ve lived here for over 55 yrs, we know it’s time to worry. We had a very early spring and everything is growing like crazy. Massive grass and undergrowth greening up and budding out a month early.Spring rains after a dry winter are a fire nightmare in the making. They don’t stick around but they do encourage a huge growth of greenery early in the season that dries out nicely just in time for fire season.
