Back in the Dark Ages of green screens and DOS , I purchased my very first computer from Radio Shack. It was a Tandy “Laptop”, which was pretty innovative at the time. I had it for several years. You could connect it to the tower when you wanted to go “online” and insert a small hard disc. to save, copy and backup. You could use it without the tower, as a word processor.Radio Shack, in those days, was the go-to place for electronics.
Come to the UK – we have a wonderful National Health Service that is paid for from taxation – free at the point of delivery, and you don’t have to worry whether you’re insured or not.
