I have a slight problem with coupons. I tend to notice that the shelf price will raise just before the product goes on coupon sale. The price will not lower until about a month after the coupon sale. The company… isn’t losing anything. Instead… it might be a boost to their profit. Lucky for me… I don’t buy much that might be on any kind of coupon.
One of my former GFs was nuts about coupons. After we broke up she married a guy who was nuts about coupons. Once he said if they couldn’t cut their grocery bill in half with them, he felt cheated. This was back in the days of double-off days in stores.
Decades ago, I heard people talking about how people were rich without having to work because they “clipped coupons”, which I think referred to living of dividends from their investments.

Nothing pays like Political corruption. Why do you think they spend Millions to get a job that only pays $150K a year.

I hear you can buy the $200 a pint ice cream if you use the coupon for $190. Right there would save some politicians $10000.00 a year.

Same way Lindsey Graham went from broke immediately before the election to giving half a million bucks to Trump’s “Fraudulent” Election Investigation.
