What a menu!…..

I have a feeling that casserole will be re-heated many times before it meets the trash bin

Is that Liver, and Eggplant casserole? Or, Liver & Eggplant Casserole? If it is liver plus Eggplant Casserole then let’s eat. Not sure I would want the liver mixed into the Eggplant and then baked as a casserole.

That kid is wise beyond his years.

My mom’s fried liver was that one could pound nails with it that put me way off of it, but then I tried it in a restaurant [because after donating blood] I found that with onions and not overcooked it was ok.

Now I avoid it due to cholesterol issues.

Well…. That’s one way to enforce a diet?

Liver is one of the meats that doesn’t taste good at all as a leftover. Now, I have no experience with eggplant, much less as a casserole.

Liver and Eggplant? Yuckee-yuck-yuck. ONIONS! It’s Liver and ONIONS.

He had me at liver. Throw it out.

Chances are breakfast will have the same menu!

If this was in the Andy Capp universe, he’d be having Burned Liver and Eggplant Casserole.

And is reheating truly cooking?

If it was tofu instead of liver, it would have come from Andy Fox’s fridge.

The only liver I ever ate and actually enjoyed was about 40 years ago. My wife cooked a box of frozen chicken livers as if she were making peppered steak. I think it was likely served with noodles.

Sure doesn’t sound like a meal for an Osprey or a Skylark, Yuck.

Did he learn to cook from Mrs. Fox in FoxTrot?
