We are just as divided as during our civil war, and along the same lines. The difference is that in 1861 enemies of the U.S. quit the U.S., fired on the U.S., invaded the U.S., made war on the U.S. and killed U.S. soldiers. They were then defeated. January 6, 2020 they tried a different way. They failed again. Today they took a different approach. They convinced voters to elect a person who has a rape judgement against him, and 34 felony convictions that could have been many more. That does represent them. We will see if they win this time, or fail again.

More Americans died in the Civil War than in any war the US was in. All the animosity today is about partisan politics. Do you know anyone in the military active or retired? They swore an oath: Enlisted service members swear to support and defend the Constitution, obey the President and their appointed officers, and face the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Blue or Red if they are KIA they did so to protect you, whether you are blue or red.

Never liked him anyway. He was always full of hot air……
