Crazy reply, if the land was in it’s natural state there would always be floods after a major hurricane…… Oh wait this is a cartoon strip about a dead girl, a talking dog, a transvestite and he is talking to a swamp. So I guess the reply is logical.
Yeah, and a good part of the flooding in neighboring Jefferson Parish was due to an idiot Parish President evacuating the pumping station operators and telling them to shut down all the drainage pumps before they left. He didn’t want to have to worry about the pumps being damaged, and instead flooded half of the East Bank of his Parish.
And of course, there’s the thought that Alphonse could have evacuated before the storm like most of the intelligent people did.
