That crazy guy a while back pointed out that the collar is a good way to tell a plant copy from the real deal, but given that the plant copies can be clothed, I’ve yet to see any reason why H.T. couldn’t have given Tip’s doppelganger a fake bomb collar too, just to cover his bases.
Man, between that and expecting to fool a canine sophont with a plant-based copy in the first place, H.T. really doesn’t seem to have thought this through. I thought he was supposed to be cunning?
