    But even if he didn’t learn to fly he still would have got a trophy…since keeping score is bad and having any side win is bad, they all get “participation” trophies now and keeping score is now irrelevant. We’re all equal that way…

    Sociey is so wrong on this one. I tell kids if they actually did a good job and I will tell them if I see an area where they could improve. Sometimes it is hard to hear, but they need to learn to take criticism now. They sure are gonna get it when they are an adult. They will take it easier if they have had practice.
