Drones range in size from tiny, ( nearly insect sized ) , to as large as fighter planes. Some can stay aloft for days at a time.
NOVA has a great program that can be streamed. I believe it is named, " rise of the drones" Susans picture is of the “PREDATOR” one of the most leathal weapons on the planet. The “GLOBAL HAWK” is the largest, ( known to the public )
VERY SCARY to think someone can sit at a computer console in Virginia & bring such leathal force to bear anywhere on the face of the globe.
It’s possible that she meant if anybody wanted to “use” a drone like how it was “used” in today’s strip… she was offering up a pic for everyone… it would seem to fit, as she seems witty like that… so I’m saying that it is possible that this is what she meant, but of course she’d be the best person to say so or not….
Wow…. thanks for a couple of complimentary remarks… but don’t you guys ever Google pictures of something, just to see whether it fits your speculation?
LOL….no, I DIDN’T know it was a drone…. It took me a moment to even realise he was using whatever was hovering there to “look” over her shoulder…
So I guessed it might be a “drone,” cos they’ve been in the news…. but I thought they were much bigger.
So I Googled “drone” images just to see what they looked like…. and whether they had that odd V-shaped rear part….and bingo….
And then I hoped posting the picture might help someone else get it too.
Had a drone looked quite different, I’d have tried to think of something else it might be and Googled THAT.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe Ms. Sunshine likes to Google and share her intelligence with us.
