    Love the comments! I’m going to be a spoilsport and point out that mamma cats carry their kittens by the scruff of the neck and not by the skin on the back. A vet told me when I complained I couldn’t get my cat into the carrier that I should pick up the cat by the scruff of the neck and it will go limp, remembering that’s how mamma used to carry him. BTW, it did not work for me.

    Seriously, if you pull your cat’s skin up and it remains like that it means they are dehydrated and need fluids STAT.
