Just grit your teeth and swallow.

Probably helps smoosh ‘em up once they’re swallowed.

Think of them as little sandwiches.

Actually, I have never experienced them to have sand on them. They are actually very clean little creatures. And taste like lemon drops (survival training, if you need to know).

Well, maybe we should do something different then.

Strain it through your teeth…..er….tongue

Passing all that sand’s gonna hurt.

Do anteaters pick-off ants one at a time (which could eliminate the sand problem)? Do they deliberately choose to attack ants on firm ground? Or do they just take the grit with the ants?

Think or the sand as a flavor enhancer. MSG – Micro Sand Grit.

You think sand is a problem; wait till you’re old enough to mate.

It’s 200 grit sand, it will go down fine.

That’s what my wife said after a day at the beach.

Anteaters must eat huge numbers of ants, seeing that ants are so small and most anteaters I’ve seen are pretty sizeable critters.

You won’t have to brush your teeth after you eat!

I’ve had an oyster or two with a few grains of sand, not the best.
