I guess Val was never a kid.

They’re not even wearing costumes. That was a great deal of the fun when I went trick or treating. It was a bummer when it was a cold night and we had to wear our coats and cover the costume but it was a lot of fun doing the trick or treating thing.

Sadly, this reminds me of my mother sending us out on Halloween. I was always so jealous of the kids who didn’t need to wear coats

I think the coldest I’ve ever been was on one or two Halloween nights, wearing a thin costume and no coat or gloves. Mind that I lived in a town with and altitude of 7000 ft …

Pushing it with the healthy treats route, Val. I remember the only time I wore a coat over my costume was when it was raining!

Here in our very red state kids go trick or treatin’ with their parents… most of whom are wearing costumes as well!

What are we? Capitalism and Profit. We’re waiting until everyone else is headed home with their evening’s loot. We’ll take most of it and thank you for your hard work.

Ignore those houses and go to the good houses. Halloween comes once a year.
