    Having ventured across the Mississippi from SoCal this summer we’ve discovered the difference between dry heat and wet heat. Dry heat can reduce the feel by about 4 degrees. Wet heat can raise it 8 – 14 degrees. Sucks big time

    I heard that this is a busy tourist season for Death Valley – people from Northern Europe want to experience 120 degree heat!
